The B'day girl getting all ready.......
As usual...Its time fr my routine chk-up @ AMK KK clinic...I'm into my 37th week of pregnancy...and I wanted very much fr my little Tenia to come out earlier...I had loaded tonnes of questions to ask my gynae...
Surprisingly, I didnt wait too long fr my turn this time...the moment I entered the room...I posted my very first question to him.."So John..can u pls help to chk if my girl is ready fr birth? If possible can I induced? I really tabuleh tahan alrdy...she is sooooo heavy now..." I was actually just kinda trying my luck, and jokingly posted that question....I knew I still had 3 more weeks to go, before little Tenia is due fr birth....I knew the chance is slim....
I guess Mr John Tee was just being entertaining...he actually agreed to help me chk ^____^..... well fr the very first time....I had to take off my panty, and u know....legs open big big fr a "stranger" to "see"... really very embarassed...Don't know what he use to chk, I suddenly felt a very sharp pain...and gave a loud "Ouch"....The every next moment, I heard a very anxious tone..."Ai yo...yur cervix is alrdy 4cm open! U could be in labour anytime....U need to be "RUSHED" to the hospital now..."
I really cannot believed what I heard...What??!! Need to be "RUSHED" to the hospital fr birth...NOW??!! I was not at all prepared...I felt no pain...nothing abnormal...just that she is getting heavier....which should be perfectly normal right??!! Cervix alrdy 4cm wide open, and I feel nothing at all??!! Start to wonder if my skin is too thick, that I'm not feeling anything...."Doc, u not joking??!! I only ask if I can induced fr an earlier birth leh....U sure I had to be "RUSHED" to the hospital now fr birth??!!....." "Ya ya...I'm not joking...I'm serious...U better head straight to KK now...don't go home...u could be in labour anytime...KK will provide u everything...DON'T GO HOME HUH..."
He started to make calls to arrange "immediate" admission fr me...Question mark flooded in my head....still cannot believed that I'm going to give birth 3 weeks earlier...and shitty oh shit...my parents are in Shanghai...and will only be back on Sunday...damn it.... Joking only mah....thought mayb can induced and give birth next week...but what the hell...I had to give birth now and today??!!
Surprisingly...both hubby and I are still kinda cool & calm...u know as if we are giving birth to our 10th baby....wahahaha.....after some discussion...we still decided to go home and pick up some stuff...thank goodness to my very kiasu personality...I had long prepared everything in a bag....
At abt 7.30pm...we reached KK hospital...nurses there were alrdy pre-informed abt my admission, and quickly admit me to the labour ward....still cool and calm....I began to joke and chatted with everybody that entered my labour ward...
The labour ward was just as big as a A class single bedded ward...not much equipment as I had expected....just a small bed at a corner fr the baby, and an equipment at the side of my bed to monitor the baby heartbeat and my contraction....
While waiting fr birth...I was reading FEMALE, while my hubby reading TORQUE...we still chatted happily and discuss abt sport rims he fancy in the TORQUE mag.....steady right....

Staff nurse came in and out of my labour ward...ensuring me that everything was very fine, and my contraction is every 2-3 mins...WHAT??!! I'm experiencing contraction??!! Why again I'm not feeling any pain or anything??!! I was once again caught by surprise...I'm now convinces that my skin is not only thick.....but god damn bloody thick...^ o ^...
At abt 9 plus...Mr John Tee came...without telling me anything...he started to "meddle" & "inspect" my "that" part....suddenly I felt a really super ultra sharp pain, that I squeal out real loud...I felt water gushing out...He had broke my water bag....
This was when I started to feel great pain when I'm hving my contraction...The pain was rather unbearable...Staff nurse then put me on gas...I was feeling slightly better...as it kinda numb my pain(but still very pain)...While I was "high" on gas, nurses started to prepare my sole pain saviour - ENPIDURA...
Phew...finally the enpidura was done up on me...the contraction pain started to subside efficiently & tremendously....my lower body was almost completely numb....

At abt 10 plus...Mr John Tee came in again...I knew I was now ready fr the moment....TO START PUSHING...."Common Priscilla...take a deep breathe and push....I know u can do it...common...push harder....OK...again...123...PUSHHHH.... Very good.... we can see the hair now.... OK...take a deep breathe again and PUSHHHH......."
While I was in the midst of "pushing"...my hubby came back frm home (he had went back to take a shower, after the nurse assured him that I will only be ready fr birth around midnight 1 plus)....he was dumbfolded to see me "pushing" when the clock is only showing 10 plus....
Just as the clock struck 2249hrs (Go buy 4D huh)....just when my hubby came back bearly 5 mins...Tenia was out...as if she knew daddy was back, and wanted to surprise him....her cry was loud...I'm now "officially" "promoted" as a mother ^_____^ .......
She is really small.... only weighing a feather light 2.27kg...I guessed this contributed to my easy delivery....beside being small...she is a healthy little baby....
She really resemble my hubby...especially her eyes...she had a head full of hair, & a pouty little red lips, fitted nicely into her apple size face...
I feel so proud of myself holding her in my arms...hard to imagine its this little rascal who had been kicking me fr the past 9 mths...seeing her innocent face...I just had to forgive her....

Life a BITCH at work, without my PC.....and the IT man is taking FOREVER to get it done......He is FOREVER engaged in a meeting....He will FOREVER tell me he will call me back....but NEVER did he once call back....And best of all....after a week, he is coming back to tell me that he needs to re-format my PC........*sprouting steam frm ears / nostrils / ass...* ......I seriously feel like strangling him like how I will strangle a dead chicken....rip him up into gazillion pieces and make a voodoo doll of him and start pricking.....

I've no choice now....but resort to use an ultra old PC that runs even slower then my grandmother......I now take ages to just reply a simple e-mail........
