Let me share a pretty interesting story about these two buildings...
On your left is Peace Hotel - He(2) Ping(2) Fan(4) Dian(4) built by Ang Moh...while on your right is Bank of China if my memory did not fail me =D ...build by a Chinese - Mr Jia(3) Jian(4) Shi(2)
The Peace Hotel actually started without the Green colour "crown" on top one...Why a green colour crown leh? Why not red / gold / blue / purple or pink leh?? Of all colors...Why green leh??
Got story one...
Peace Hotel used to the tallest building in Shanghai until Mr Jia builds Bank of China, taller then Peace Hotel...and this had then incurred wrath in the Ang Moh...cause to them...ANG MOHS WILL ALWAY BE THE MORE SOPHISTICATED BUNCH OF MONKEYS...NO CHINESE BUILDING IS SUPPOSE TO BE TALLER THEN THEIR OH-SO-SUPERIOR PEACE HOTEL...ALL BUILDINGS BUILT BY ANG MOHS HAD TO BE THE TALLEST!!!
Thanks goodness...this smartass Mr Jia, came up with a brilliant idea to appease the red hair monkeys...He promised to build them a crown at the top of the building, to restore Peace hotel "status" as the tallest building in Shanghai...and Ta-rahhh...this is how Peace Hotel ended up wearing a "green hat"... bestow by the Chinese...

Inside the tower...
We queue for almost 1/2 an hour to go up the tower...and the "soya souce" only gave us 10 mins...I repeat 10 fucking mins to take pics...cause he says its another nong nong queue to get down the tower...
WTF??!!
Think I dupid meh...be it 10 mins or 20 mins...still have to queue to get down...
